Hey friends, I’m Victoria! First and foremost, I have been saved by his redeeming grace! I’m a slightly crunchy mama to my precious baby boy with another little one making their arrival in December, I’m a hairstylist two days a week, and a hemp wellness advocate!

I’ve always been obsessed with babies and couldn’t wait to become a mama one day! After getting pregnant and having the most amazing home birth, the obsession with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum quickly followed. While I was pregnant I did all the things to prepare myself for labor. I did tons of research to make informed decisions, so I could feel confident in the choices I felt were right for me and baby. I love sharing the things I’ve learned with my fellow sisters. Helping equip mamas with important information so they can make the best choices for their families has lit a fire in my soul. Nothing makes me happier than a mama feeling empowered, capable, and confident!

One thing that I did not prepare well enough for - postpartum. I did the bare minimum here. Nourishing foods and padcicles, while my body healed those first few weeks, was about the extent of that. Everything was going good until it wasn’t. Since dealing with that and learning just how serious postpartum care really is, I wanted postpartum care to be my area of focus. This is also why I wanted to offer placenta encapsulation for my clients! There are so many amazing benefits I’d love to share with you if you don’t already know!

Ultimately, our birthing experience lies in the hands of our Father but I also believe the birth team I hired contributed immensely. When I hear of women’s birth stories that didn’t have the experience they wanted, my heart aches with them. I knew I wanted to do whatever I could to help change that! After many months of prayer, I knew the Lord was tugging on my heart to become a doula.
