  • "I am forever grateful for the beautiful redemptive birth of my girl and so thankful Madie was by my side..."

I don't think I'll ever be able to fully express our gratitude for Madie.

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted an unmedicated birth with as little intervention as possible. Having someone you (and your partner) can rely on during such an intimate, vulnerable, and life-changing moment is so special.

Madie was incredibly supportive of my unmedicated natural hospital birth. In the weeks leading up to delivery, she took her time getting to know my birth plan and sharing resources to help me prepare physically, mentally, and spiritually - she even took evening walks with me the week before to help engage the baby. Madie was a guiding presence of calm and stability throughout my (very fast) labor, even in times of high stress and unexpected complications. She was a wealth of knowledge not only for me but for my husband in ways he could support me during labor. She captured amazing pictures that I will always cherish.

I am forever grateful for the beautiful redemptive birth of my girl and so thankful Madie was by my side. Not only is she an incredible doula, but she is also now a dear friend. What a gift she is.

  • “Birth has been my biggest fear ever since I was a little girl..."

I knew I wanted a family, but I was completely terrified for the physical aspect of pregnancy and birth.

I would have laughed at the idea of me having a home birth a couple years ago. But from the moment I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to be at home creating my own atmosphere and believing for a peaceful birth. Part of that plan was hiring Brittney as my doula.

My midwife was there to focus on my daughter’s safe arrival, my husband was there for anything I asked for or needed, but Brittney’s role was so unique. She was intuitive. As a mama herself, she knew what I needed without asking. She was always one step ahead of me whether it was staying hydrated with electrolytes, applying counter pressure, suggesting a position change, knowing which essential oils I needed in the moment, or most importantly being a prayer warrior and comfort in the room.

I debated whether or not I needed a doula, but hiring Brittney was the best decision ever. She carries a peaceful presence, is incredibly generous, and I am so grateful to have gained such a sweet friend through it all!

    — Kelsey N.

  • “After a traumatic hospital birth, I was fearful of what may happen with an unmedicated birth at a birth center..."

Brittney put me at ease from our first meeting, giving me a sense of empowerment. When labor started and quickly progressed she provided the calm I needed via phone until we could both get to the birth center.

But truly, I was anxious, in pain, and tense laboring until she walked in. Her presence alone gave me relief, then she began her calling - her gentle touch, empathetic eye contact, intuitive nature of anticipating my needs, and calm whispers of reassurance were exactly what I needed to make the birth of my sweet Wiley the best experience ever. It was peaceful, beautiful and natural… the Lord’s presence was felt and Brittney was a contributor. Her peace translated to my peace, my husband’s and my baby’s. No matter what your birthing goal is, Brittney will make it a better experience.

  • "Brittney was absolutely amazing during our birthing journey..."

We honestly couldn’t be happier and felt such peace. She was truly a God send to us! I could go on and on and on about how comforting it was to have her by our side during my first pregnancy and navigating through birth and postpartum as a first-time mom. She helped me understand what would happen, what my options were in the hospital, labor positions, tips on things I needed (quick Amazon order haha), and how to create my natural birth plan. During labor, she supported my husband and me by driving to our house during active labor (because again, we were first-time parents), she was quick to respond to texts when I wasn’t sure if I was in labor or not, and when to know what was right for me for laboring at home and then eventually going to the hospital. She followed us to the hospital, advocated for what we wanted to do as parents, and was by our side the whole time. I truly believe she played a huge part in helping me achieve the medication-free birth I desired. Having her there also gave my husband peace of mind and was able to help him relax more during the labor process too. Brittney also supported us postpartum and kept in communication with us to make sure we were doing okay, I was healing okay, answering questions I had, and just simply saying you’re doing a great job! I would highly encourage everyone to hire a doula because we could not have done it without her!!

    — Laken H.

  • “Brittney was an amazing asset to my birth team..."

From the moment I told her I was pregnant, she was there to answer any questions I had along the way! She’s incredibly knowledgeable on all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! She cared for me in all the best ways during labor. Keeping me cool and comfortable during contractions, well-hydrated, and whispering words of encouragement. She knew exactly what to do when I needed it. She helped me achieve the homebirth of my dreams and I’ll be forever grateful to her! Hiring Brittney as part of my birth team was one of the best decisions I made while pregnant and you won’t be disappointed in making the same choice!!

    — Victoria B.

  • "I wasn’t going for an unmedicated birth, just a more enjoyable induction experience than my first..."

Kayla gave me loads of information to read about topics I had questions on as well as things I never knew about! She made me feel confident in the delivery room and like I was completely capable. She made the room so inviting and I literally felt like she was waiting on me hand and foot. Her tips and tools got me through my contractions 1.5 minutes apart that I simply couldn’t have made it through without. I became itchy and got the shakes when I had my epidural with my first that lasted the entire 34 hours of labor so I wanted to put off those symptoms for as long as I could this time around. She recommended different positions, had a great playlist, and cheered me on leading to me postponing the epidural as long as possible until the doctor encouraged it for medical reasons. I delivered my second beautiful baby boy am so glad I had Kayla by my side. I will be having her at any subsequent deliveries if we’re blessed to have them!

    — Danielle R.

  • “As a first time mom planning an unmedicated home birth I knew that my support team had to be iron clad..."

I prayed that God would put the right people in place and boy did He do that! The very first time I asked someone if they knew of any good doulas in the area I was immediately referred to Brittney, the lady that just had a twin homebirth and oh, one of the babies was delivered breech! I had to check her out. From our very first phone call, I knew that she was going to be my person. Her calm, confident, and sweet spirit left no doubts in my mind that I was capable of the birth I had dreamt of.

When the time had come to deliver my baby, Brittney never left my side. She flawlessly guided my husband and best friend as they all worked together to support and comfort me. I simply cannot imagine doing it without her. My husband initially was skeptical when I told him I wanted to hire a doula but after it was all over he told me she was worth her weight in gold and she would have to be at any future births we have.

Brittney was my answer to prayer. A solid rock to stand on when everything was so new and intense. I’ll forever be grateful for her gift and talent.

  • "I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all Madie did for us throughout my whole pregnancy and postpartum..."

I, as well as my family, am overwhelmed with gratitude for all Madie did for us throughout my whole pregnancy and postpartum. She was there every step of the way and whenever I needed her. My husband was hesitant at first with my decision for a homebirth and all she did was share her story and some of the great things about homebirth. He was completely on board after that and couldn’t have been more excited. She was there and answered all his questions without hesitation. I knew from the moment I met with her, regarding this pregnancy, she was the exact fit for my birth team. For my next baby, she will, without a doubt, be on my birth team if she’s able. I don’t know how or if I ever will be able to express how thankful I am for her as well as the friendship we have developed through this! She made every effort after the birth to check on me and make sure I was doing okay. She made it a priority to make sure I wasn’t getting depressed, especially with my previous battle with postpartum depression. We are so, so thankful for you!

    — Madilyn C.

  • "Kayla was a joy to work with..."

She was incredibly knowledgeable about our birthing plan choices and in labor. Having her present brought a lot of peace to me during labor. She also used her bag of tricks to let me labor in various positions, which relieved pain. We are so grateful she was a part of our birthing story!

    — Danae K.

  • "Amber was THE BEST..."

She helped support me with worship music, oils, encouraging words, and prayer while bringing sweet baby Ava into the world in the comfort of our home! I’m so blessed that she’s been there for both of my baby’s births; one hospital and one home birth (which was the best experience).

    — Elizabeth C.

  • "I cannot say enough about Hands & Feet Birth Services..."

The support & peace of mind alone meant more than I could ever express, especially going into my first delivery. Brittney provided support via a birth class to help put my mind at ease with the unknown, constantly checking in, helped with guiding my husband on what to do when it was “go time”, and upheld my wants & hopes with the highest regard (down to me requesting to labor as long as possible at home), all the way to providing counter pressure on my lower back during delivery and a delicious dinner after! I honestly could never express how thankful I am to Brittney for all she has done and for the friendship that was built.

Do yourself a favor and book with this amazing team of ladies because they really did make our experience all that it was and I do not think it would’ve panned out the way it did without them.

    — Haley M.

  • "The moment I spoke with Madie I instantly connected with her and knew she needed to be my doula..."

I always knew she was a text away with any questions or reassurance I needed throughout my pregnancy. She was a friend I didn’t know I needed!

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully show my gratitude to Madie for her unwavering support during my labor and postpartum. As a first-time mom walking through a home birth that turned into a hospital transport, her constant support made all the difference in helping my husband and I navigate all the changes. God truly knew what he was doing when he made Madie a part of our birth story.

    — Dakoda C.

  • "The moment me and my husband decided to have an unmedicated birth we knew we wanted to have a doula..."

I instantly knew Holly was the one I wanted to be there with us after speaking with her just one time. I was not wrong at all. The amount of gratitude my husband and I have for Holly, is beyond words. We couldn’t stop talking about her and how grateful we were that she was there. Not only was her support overwhelmingly helpful during labor, but for postpartum as well. I didn’t realize how hard postpartum would be physically, but she was there to help me through it and guide my steps. There are not enough words to describe our love and thankfulness for Holly.

    — Leah R.

  • "Thank you so much Amber for ALL you did helping my daughter bring my beautiful grandson into this world..."

Thank you so much Amber for ALL you did helping my daughter bring my beautiful grandson into this world! You were amazing and I’m so glad she had you to help her fulfill her dream of a home waterbirth. They are doing great and the baby is so content … He is just precious, he already has memaw’s heart!

    — Debra O.

  • "Kayla was more than I can even explain, my words will always fall short in expressing how amazing it was to have her present..."

I first heard about Hands and Feet Birth Services through a local Facebook page before I was even pregnant. I knew I wanted to have a doula for my first birth and felt connected to the company for having Christian values and their love and support for how and where women want to birth their babies. I had a call with Kayla Johnson and immediately knew she was who I needed to have with me on this journey. Her passion was so evident over the phone and something about her spirit put me at ease. Kayla quickly became much more than just someone I chose to do a service. I truly don’t even see it that way. I 100% believe God ordained and orchestrated every piece of our story from the very beginning. Kayla was beyond intentional about meeting with me to establish a connection and friendship. She always checked in before and after doctor appointments and gave me so much encouragement, prayer, and advice throughout my pregnancy. She always made me feel so understood and cared for. During the birth of my daughter, Kayla was more than I can even explain, my words will always fall short in expressing how amazing it was to have her present with my husband and I as we welcomed our daughter into the world. She quite literally stepped in in ways I didn’t even know I needed, almost like she knew me better than I knew myself. She was the biggest support physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, not only to me but to my husband, as well. I fully surrendered and trusted her because God had placed her there with me for a reason and I could not be more grateful that He did. Her knowledge and care truly go beyond just doula services and support, although she was truly exceptional at those things and made a huge difference in how my birth played out in such a positive way. Kayla is one of the kindest most intentional and amazing women I have ever had the privilege of knowing and now I get to call friend. I will forever be grateful for her!

  • "Zandra was there, available and supportive through every step of the way..."

From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to have a doula on this journey with my husband and I. Circumstances (which I truly believe now, we’re fate) presented themselves where I was in need of a doula in a stage later in my pregnancy than I anticipated. I got connected with Hands and Feet Birth Services after a fellow mom-to-be’s recommendation and I couldn’t be more thankful for that recommendation. Madison connected me with some amazing women that we’re available during my anticipated delivery date for me to chat with and gauge my interest. After talking with Zandra and hearing her experiences, not only professionally, but personally, I knew right away that she was the perfect support my husband and I would need, not just on our delivery date, but on the remaining journey of my pregnancy. Meeting Zandra in person was as if I’d known her all my life. My birthing story wasn’t quite as we had anticipated, but Zandra was there, available and supportive through every step of the way. From decorating our room to create a beautiful, serene, and calming atmosphere (which we got nonstop compliments on from all of the hospital staff) to arriving at the hospital in the middle of the night to coach me through some practices and positions to assist me in labor. I’m so grateful to have crossed paths with Zandra and Hands and Feet Birth Services and have made a connection and friendship that has carried beyond the birth of my daughter.

  • "No words can describe what Brittney provided for my birth experience..."

No words can describe what Brittney provided for my birth experience! First time mom, I believe that hiring a doula from Hands & Feet was a huge contribution to my peace about labor, leading to a quick and easy birth. I felt educated, prepared, supported & loved. Not only did Brittney comfort me and direct me through incoherence, but she was also able to give my husband tips on how to be helpful and offer him support as well. Having an advocate in it with you, who is seasoned & not caught up in the craziness of laboring, truly makes all the difference. I also love knowing I have a life long friendship through this experience. Can’t recommend enough, completely worth the investment!

Added bonus- she took really sweet pictures & videos through labor that I will treasure forever! My husband supporting me through contractions, baby on my chest, cord cutting, our first family photo. Something you don’t think about!

    — Gabby B.

  • "She was such a blessing to this pregnancy and birth..."

I can’t say enough good things about Brittney with Hands and Feet Birth Services. She was such a blessing to this pregnancy and birth. From the beginning she provided so much encouragement. I was 11 days past my “due date” this time and she constantly offered encouragement and support and settled my frustrated mind. When birth time came, she was right there, again with soft words of encouragement, and quite literally helping hold me up as I pushed my baby out. Postpartum she was there with helpful advice for clogged ducts and some of the cutest and yummiest gifts! So thankful for her and would recommend Hands and Feet Birth Services to every expecting mama!

    — Lauren D.

  • "Holly’s ability to keep me calm, trust myself and trust my body, engage my husband in the support process..."

Thank you Holly for the support and encouragement and every little thing in between throughout my first birth experience! Our little girl, Joelle Marie, arrived safely and with no complications after a 32 hour labor with my water already broken and a huge contributing factor to that was Holly’s ability to keep me calm, trust myself and trust my body, engage my husband in the support process, and allow my body to take over and do its thing. I am so so thankful to you, Holly!! We could not have done this without you and I will forever hold a place in my heart for you. How lucky am I to have gained a lifelong friend out of this crazy life experience too!

  • "I wasn’t sure how to put into words how grateful we are for Lindsay..."

I’m delayed on posting this because I wasn’t sure how to put into words how grateful we are for Lindsay. But I’ll give it a go. Two months ago we went into labor and it was the scariest moment of our lives, not because Lindsay didn’t prepare us but because we were 31 weeks and 1 day pregnant. My husband reached out to her around 4 AM and despite her not being “on call” for us yet, she was there for us. She checked in on us continuously through our 5 days at the hospital working to delay pregnancy and set up a game plan with us for if we went into labor again. We ended up going into labor at 31 and 6 on Valentine’s Day! My husband called Lindsay and she was with us quickly. Despite not having the chance to go through breathing classes or what birth would be like, she guided us through the entire process, helped me breathe, helped my husband breathe (lol), spoke words of encouragement, gave me essential oils to help with the nausea, helped ease the pain and reminded us constantly that we were doing great. In the scariest moment of our lives, Lindsay helped us make the experience as normal and beautiful as possible. While our son was in the NICU for nearly a month, she constantly checked in on us and when he got home, she came to hold him so I could have a moment to myself. I couldn’t be more grateful for her and for Hands and Feet. And if you know me, you know I’ve already referred you to Hands and Feet and I think having a baby without a doula is CRAZY!

    — Nicole O.

  • "I can’t wait to have another baby with Holly by my side..."

Two weeks ago I had the best labor and delivery and I couldn’t have done it without Holly! From the very first phone call I felt a connection to her and knew she cared about my wishes for a natural birth.

At the prenatal visit I told her I didn’t want to cave and get an epidural but when I got to the hospital I was singing a different song. Fortunately, Holly had all the tricks to get me through delivery. I progressed very quickly and she knew exactly what my body needed through early labor, active labor, transition and delivery. Even after my baby was born she stuck around to help me shower and breast feed. Most importantly to me however is how she advocated for me and the birth plan we made. Delivering in a hospital can be challenging when you want a natural birth but Holly helped navigate the nurses and doctors in a very professional way.

I know anytime I have a question I can text her and she will answer. I truly feel like I have a life long friend with her. I can’t wait to have another baby with Holly by my side.

  • "Brittney with Hands & Feet Birth Services was such a saving grace for the birth of my most recent baby..."

Brittney with Hands & Feet Birth Services was such a saving grace for the birth of my most recent baby. It was my 5th baby but the first time I used a doula & I am beyond thankful that I did! It was by far my favorite & most peaceful (yes, birth can be peaceful! Hah) labor & delivery and a HUGE reason for that is Brittney! At 36 weeks pregnant, I had some health issues arise that ultimately resulted in switching from my plan to home birth to a hospital birth. My home birth midwife was lacking in support throughout this time which was really disappointing. However, Brittney was such a light through this transition. She walked me through it with ease and helped me still have my DREAM birth in the hospital setting. It brings all the happy tears to my eyes just thinking about how beautiful the birth was. I am so so so grateful that God placed Brittney in my life for this birth - it would have played out very differently without her as my doula. If there are anymore babies in my future, I will 110% be using Hands & Feet Birth Services again and recommend them to everyone!

    — Kaitlyn R.

  • "Brittney was a peaceful, calm presence from day one & ultimately helped me achieve the birth of my dreams..."

For my 3rd baby I decided I wanted to experience my first unmedicated birth, which would also be my first VBAC. I knew I had to set myself up for success if I wanted to achieve this — insert Brittney with Hands & Feet. Brittney was a peaceful, calm presence from day 1 & ultimately helped me achieve the birth of my dreams (in a hospital setting might I add). She set up twinkle lights & affirmations, diffused my favorite essential oil, encouraged my husband and I, & was my anchor when I felt scared & weary during the most intense part of labor. She fed me sips of water, put my hair up in transition, applied counter pressure when needed & made me feel safe. Brittney quickly felt like family to my husband & I, and I genuinely can’t recommend her enough!! Forever grateful for her!

    —Jessica B.

  • "I can’t speak enough good things about Morgan..."

My husband and I welcomed our first baby on October 31, 2024. Having a doula was something I knew I wanted from the start. When I started the search for one, I knew I wanted someone that I felt like I had known forever. I can’t speak enough good things about Morgan! She was all in from the moment we met! The constant checking in and sending information was so helpful throughout my whole pregnancy and truly prepared me for what was to come. I was able to have the unmedicated birth of my dreams and I’m so happy she stood by my husband and I throughout it all. Having Morgan there helped calm mine and my husband’s nerves so much. I know we will have a lasting friendship beyond this journey! All to say, Morgan was God sent and you need her as your doula!

    —Mackenzie P.

  • Madie was like working with a friend I’ve had for years..."

Cannot recommend working with Hands & Feet enough! Madie was like working with a friend I’ve had for years, and she was so kind and supportive throughout my pregnancy — especially at the end when I was way past due (and too much in my head). She kept me confident and steady through a very intense, fast labor, and made me feel like an absolute rockstar when it was over. If you’re on the fence about hiring a doula — 1) you absolutely should, and 2) it should be one of the Hands & Feet gals.

    —Kaley O.

  • "I would highly encourage everyone to hire a doula & use Hands & Feet because we could not have done it with Brittney..."

Brittney has been with us during the birth of our 2 boys (one in 2022 & one in 2024.) She was absolutely amazing, encouraging, and helpful during our entire birthing journey both times. She has checked in, prayed for me, and helped me navigate the transition from 1 to 2. We cannot say enough good things about how comforting it was to have her along our side during my first and now second pregnancy. I had one natural hospital birth in 2022 with her and one water birth at the birth center in 2024. Both two different birth experiences and I can’t imagine not having a baby without her there. Having Brittney there gave my husband a peace of mind and was able to help him relax more during the labor process too. She also helped make my firstborn feel included during my second birth since I really wanted him to be a part of the process. She made sure my whole family had a place and responsibilities that made my birth more than I could’ve ever imagined. She also talked me into a birth photographer which I am so glad I did because I now have sacred photos and videos to look back on and cherish. Brittney has also supported us PP and kept in communication with us to make sure we were doing ok. I would highly encourage everyone to hire a doula & use Hands & Feet because we could not have done it with Brittney!

  • "The group screams of the beauty of God and His divine creation..."

I truly do not have words for the gratitude I have for Hands and Feet, but especially Amber. My most recent birth was my third, with my first two being FAR from what I envisioned or hoped for. I decided late in my pregnancy that I wanted to add a doula to my birth team this time around and I was directed to Hands and Feet from a friend of mine. Instantly I knew they were a good fit for my husband and I because the group screams of the beauty of God and His divine creation. I was connected with Amber and instantly I knew she was the EXACT person God had in the plan to help me through this pregnancy and birth. Her gentleness, kindness and love for all things birth, natural living, and Jesus, showed through in just that one short phone call.
For this birth I wanted things to be a lot different than my previous two and Amber helped me feel confident that I could accomplish exactly what I wanted to. At 37.5 weeks I was diagnosed with Cholestasis and was told I needed to get scheduled for an “emergency” induction the following morning. I was DEVASTATED and truly overwhelmed with the thought that I would not be able to have the redemptive birth I was hoping and praying for all this time. Amber was there for me and helped walk me through navigating what my new “plan” was going to be. She listened to all of my fears, worries, and concerns and put me at ease and helped me get through the fear of it all. She was knowledgeable, calm, understanding and literally everything you need when you feel like things are going wrong.
The morning I was induced I was DETERMINED to still have the birth I was dreaming for, which was as little intervention as possible with no pain medication. Throughout my whole labor, Amber was there. She helped me try different positions, helped keep me hydrated and fed, kept me laughing, had ALLL of the essential oils going, and helped me manage my pain throughout the entire time. Labor was long and exhausting for us all and around 2:30 am I asked Amber and my husband to pray with me, and in that prayer I begged God to help me get my baby out by sunrise because I wasn’t sure I would be able to go longer than that without needing more intervention and pain management. Let me say, God provided! We welcomed our beautiful baby girl at the EXACT time of sunrise on that day, literally to the minute. It was the most BEAUTIFUL and redemptive birth I could have ever imagined and I know that I could not have done it without the support and love I got from Amber. God knew exactly who I needed for the trial I was going to face and that was Amber. She is truly the best!! Amber will forever be apart of our family.

  • "Morgan Johnson is an anchor..."

Morgan Johnson is an anchor. She carries the depth, gentleness, awareness and tenacity you want in a doula.
I went into labor at 26 weeks and admitted until birth. I kept him for 3 weeks and 5 days until my body went into labor. He was born at 29+6 and straight into NICU. Morgan was there through it all.
I had many fears going into pregnancy and then everything caught on fire all at once. I spiraled a lot. Morgan was a light and anchor for me mentally and emotionally. During labor, she kept me present and advocated for me fully. She did a beautiful job at balancing all the relationships around her, from my side (husband and mom) and hospital staff (nurses and physicians). She was kind and friendly which gets you much further in high stress situations but became firm when necessary. She encouraged me without pushing me, she was incredibly patient while also knowing we had to make tough decisions to avoid putting baby at risk. This was a difficult and long labor, and she never left my side. She never wavered and remained unmoved by the chaos (or did a stellar job of not showing it). Her faith and trust was present.
This woman cannot be underestimated and she is worth her weight in gold.
I love her dearly and HIGHLY recommend her especially for high risk pregnancies. My babe was her first Nicu baby and you would have never known.

    —Courtney S.

  • "When I tell you that Madie was not only my doula but she was my rock..."

We welcomed our first baby girl in early June. I knew from the beginning I wanted a doula, and we hired Madie. When I tell you that Madie was not only my doula but she was my rock, along side my husband. She was there every minute that I needed her, holding hair, squeezing hips, fanning, encouraging, singing, praying and just being the best support I could have asked for. I could go on and on about how blessed I am to know her, and to have her on my side through this process of pregnancy, birth and postpartum- but it would never be able to add up to what she means to me. Me and my husband are so thankful for the support she gave us during my long labor. She is truly a gem and anyone would be so blessed to have her as their doula.

    —Chelsea H.

  • "Morgan reminded every step of the way to trust my body, trust God, therefore I was able to birth my boy unmedicated as I had hoped..."

Meeting Morgan and having her as our doula was one of the best decisions we made in preparation for bringing our boy earth side. From the first time we met, we immediately hit it off. From sending me endless resources and encouragement throughout my pregnancy to being the most calming and reassuring presence on the day our little Jones came into our world - we couldn’t have done it without her. I was induced 2 weeks early, which was a complete curveball and not in our original plan. Morgan reminded every step of the way to trust my body, trust God, therefore I was able to birth my boy unmedicated as I had hoped.

My husband, who was completely confused by the whole “doula” concept at first now tells everyone that they too need to hire a doula.

We are so grateful that God brought Hands & Feet and Morgan into our lives!! It is truly evident that being a doula is one of God’s callings on her life. The Teagues love you!

    —Hannah T.

  • "I will definitely be hiring Madie again..."

My husband and I welcomed our first baby, a little boy, in October 2024. I knew I wanted a doula to help me achieve my goal of a natural, unmedicated delivery and I’m SO glad I found Madie. She was there to answer all my crazy questions during pregnancy and there’s no way I could have made it through labor without her support. After less than 11 hours of labor and less than an hour of pushing our boy made his arrival and everything was perfect. I can’t thank H+F and Madie enough for everything - the support I received through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum was everything and more. If (when) we have another baby, I will definitely be hiring Madie again! Through everything, she started as my doula but now I’m blessed to call her a wonderful friend!

    —Allison B.

  • "There are hardly any words to describe the love and gratitude I have for Amber..."

There are hardly any words to describe the love and gratitude I have for Amber! From the moment we first met, she felt like a long time best friend who I could trust wholeheartedly. Being a first time mom, I had a lot to learn, and Amber was there ready to teach and encourage me with a smile on her face!

I was first drawn to Hands & Feet because of the name of the business. It was very important to me to have a Christian presence and biblical influence on my birth, since God is the Creator of all life. I loved everything that this business stood for, and it was evident that Amber had found her calling to be a doula for Hands & Feet!

From the initial phone call, to text messages, to the first meet, home visit, labor/delivery, postpartum check-ins, Amber was there for me ready to serve me in any way she could. I felt so unworthy of her attention because she gave it so selflessly! Upon arriving at our home when things began to pick up in labor, she was calm, soft spoken, focused, and ready to help me in any way I needed it. She encouraged me, prayed over me, set up a beautiful and tranquil place for me to birth in our living room, and advised me on positions to keep labor progressing. Praise the Lord for her strong hands to do countless hip squeezes because those were a game changer! She kept me hydrated and nourished so I could stay strong, and fixed my hair when I was feeling the strong surges in transition.

My husband and I are beyond grateful for Amber and her wealth of knowledge with pregnancy, labor/birth, and all the natural ways of helping the female body do what it was created to do. I’m so thankful for the pictures and videos she captured of those precious moments with our baby, and her helping me climb into bed after delivering our son in the comfort of our home. When I was told that I didn’t have any tearing and that I breathed my baby out, I looked at Amber and smiled because I knew that was accomplished through her gentle coaching and the grace of God!

Lord willing, we will have more babies and I cannot wait to have the privilege of working with Amber again!

  • "As soon as Madie arrived to my laboring room, she brought a sense of peace with her..."

I couldn’t praise Madison Huntley enough. Not only has she been a life long bestfriend, she was the greatest birthing coach. Going into my second birth, I was very anxious because of how bad my first birth/labor went. Leading up to my birth, we talked several times about what my birth plan was, what I wanted as soon as he was born & gave me breast feeding advice!
As soon as Madie arrived to my laboring room, she brought a sense of peace with her. She turned on a diffuser, dimmed the lights, gave me a honey lollipop & took my mind off of the nerves I was having. We chatted & laughed until it was time to push. She coached me through my breathing and kept reassuring me my baby was almost earth side! She held my hand & helped me relax so much.
When my little guy was born, she was right there, still holding my hand. She hugged my neck and made me feel like I could really do anything.

She came over to my house a few days later, with a warm, home cooked meal and lots of snuggles for baby boy. She offered to help clean, do laundry or anything I needed help with. She is always a text away with any questions I have, whether it’s about me or the baby.

God gave her a gift and it truly is so amazing and special to watch her dream come to life. She has built a female based company that empowers women and gives birth a beautiful name. It can be so scary when you don’t know what’s to come on this journey but knowing you will have a friend with you during it all, is so worth it. I couldn’t recommended Madison enough.
